Reception Rooms

High ceilings are a feature of the villa and it is furnished with many traditional Tuscan pieces.  The colour scheme creates a vibrant atmosphere enhanced by the marble and ceramic floors.


 

The dining room has the original furniture in the Liberty style and the large “otto-cento” dining table and chairs will accommodate twelve people in comfort.



There are large comfortable sofas in the sitting room.  A TV and DVD player are provided as well as a wide range of – mainly English – films.


 

There is a speaker system from which an iPod can be played as well as a radio/CD player.  Guests are welcome to borrow from the extensive book collection during their stay.




 

Kitchen

The kitchen combines rustic Tuscan with hi-tech modern with large fridge-freezer, built in oven and microwave oven and has a gas hob designed by Renzo Piano.  Kitchen utensils, cutlery and a wide range of crockery are all provided.

 

The cellar has been converted into a modern utility room with Bosch washing machine and tumble dryer.  The villa is equipped with an efficient central heating system for use in colder weather.  This also provides hot water on demand all through the year.




 

Bedrooms / Bathrooms

Villa Adelina has six bedrooms: three double bedrooms and three twin bedrooms (one downstairs.)  Three bedrooms have en suite bathrooms.  There are two further large bathrooms one upstairs and one downstairs.  All five bathrooms are equipped to a high standard with shower, washbasin, bidet and wc.  Two of these also have a bath.

 

Several of the bedrooms have traditional Tuscan wardrobes and beds – the latter equipped with modern frames and mattresses.  All bedrooms are equipped with anti-mosquito screens.  All linen is provided including towels for bathroom use as well as towels for the swimming pool.
