The last few winters have seen significant snowfalls in Chianni, no doubt related to climate change. It’s not yet suitable for skiing holidays but it can be pretty, as you can see.

We are not really suggesting a winter holiday in Chianni because, for one thing, if it snows you would need chains (or a friendly farmer) to get up the hill!

However, nearly all the demand we receive is for holidays in July and August while Tuscany can be even more delightful in May, June, September and October because it is cooler but still usually sunny.  We offer considerable reductions on the rental for Villa Adelina if you book during these months.

And remember that Chianni holds its Sagra del Cinghiale (wild boar festival) in November, which provides an opportunity to join in celebrations with the locals.
